An online fashion psychology field introductory
program Custom Costume (endorsed by TED) that explicates the psychological impact of cultural appropriation.
It goes beyond simply identifying cultural appropriation within the Fashion Industry, but explores the intersectionality betweenthe
perceiver and the wearer.
Duly leaving the onus with the
consumer primarily, making the brand and designer
secondary.
Furthermore, students will identify solutions within their own personal power to make their world a better place.
